Alai sia alai kolonga is the Tongan metaphor for one who has the talent and wisdom for anything that comes their way; my late Grandma Seini Forget me not had this trait.
The purpose of my designs is to keep my Tongan culture alive using modern sewing techniques. My inspiration of this collection came from my late Grandma and the memories of her wearing the Tongan Mumu.
