School of Design Innovation
Learn to animate your digital drawings into a short moving image video. Start the day by meeting Clayton Elliot, Whitecliffe Lecturer and professional designer. Then, jump straight into a design project.
The workshop takes you through the basics of drawing, animation and how to create a moving image video from scratch. You will use industry standard software and learn new techniques that are used by artists and in the commercial world.
School of Fine Arts
Free Life Drawing class! This session is for anyone who might be interested in studying Fine Arts at Whitecliffe now or in the future.
Get a taste of what it's like to be taught by a Fine Arts lecturer in an Art School environment. Drawing from the unclothed human figure in established traditional and contemporary art techniques. Beginning with quick sketches and ending with one sustained pose.
School of Fashion + Sustainability
Come and experience ‘Eco Printing,’ a form of natural textile design, where colours or natural dyes from plant materials are transferred onto fabric. Learn about studying at the School of Fashion and Sustainability.
You will also get try your hand at visible mending. Visible mending is an ornamental approach to repairing and extending the life of a treasured item of clothing to keep it out of landfill! Instead of masking the damaged area, you will highlight these imperfections in a creative, eye-catching way.
