The question is: can we have freedom without control? Can we have control without freedom?
No.
Life is built on juxtaposing ideas just like the two words control and freedom. We would never feel the positivity we feel towards freedom without control existing.
Through this collection I am exploring these tensions of control and freedom in the context of the 1960’s time period where the idea of liberation was very prevalent in western culture.
