My collection is based on the concept of a war-torn society with a focus on World War II. My garments symbolise deconstruction and rehabilitation conveyed by the structured, sturdy garments, and the use of a neutral colour palette.
Harnesses and belts are incorporated to represent details of the uniforms worn by the soldiers. I implemented slow fashion techniques and used sustainable materials to create these timeless garments.
