Desexualised Androgyny Trans-seasonal

Alice Smith

2020

The media portrays androgyny by contrasting a person's body with garments that are strongly associated by opposite gendered bodies: such as a hyper-masculine man in lingerie or short skirts.

For my collection Desexualised Androgyny, I want to refine this back to detract from the wearer’s body, and create everyday street wear that isn’t perceived as conforming to any gender stereotypes.
