Study Technology for free: Targeted Training and Apprenticeships Fund (TTAF)

The Targeted Training and Apprenticeships Fund (TTAF) is a Government initiative making all sub-degree vocational and apprenticeship programmes free for learners. It is targeted towards industry skill needs where demand from employers for these skills will continue to be strong or is expected to grow, during New Zealand’s recovery period from the impacts of Covid-19.

TTAF at Whitecliffe

The Targeted Training and Apprenticeships Fund (TTAF) is a Government initiative put in place to train learners in areas that are critical and essential to the New Zealand economy during the Covid-19 recovery period.

The TTAF initiative means that all of our Levels 4 - 6 Technology programmes are now fees-free for Domestic Students until 31 December 2022.

Eligibility

The TTAF fund is available to all Domestic Students studying a vocational course and/or apprenticeship (see programme list above).

All domestic students eligible for government tuition subsidies are eligible to access TTAF. It doesn't matter how old you are, if you've studied before or if you've used any Fees Free entitlement.
