The NZ Certificate in Apparel and Fashion Technology (Level 4) is an entry-level, hands-on programme that teaches the fundamentals of garment construction, industrial sewing, and apparel production. It’s ideal for beginners who want to develop technical fashion skills for careers in clothing manufacturing or further study in fashion design.
Classes typically run from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Students can also access the workroom for self-directed learning and project work while the campus is open, providing flexibility to practice and refine their technical skills.
Applicants must be at least 17 years old (domestic) or 18 years old (international) during their first year at Whitecliffe.
