July 15, 2026 10:30 am

Hands-on experience with networking equipment and tools used for network security.

If AI, cyber security, data, or coding interest you but you don’t have UE or you’re considering a career change, our IT hands-on sessions are a great way to explore what studying technology at Whitecliffe looks like.

Through practical workshops, you’ll experience how IT is taught, work with real tools and technologies, and gain insight into study pathways starting with our Certificate in Information Technology, which can provide a strong foundation and a head start into the Bachelor of Applied Computing Technologies.

These sessions are designed for beginners, career changers, and anyone wanting to understand how tech skills are developed in a supportive learning environment.

Please note: Students need to bring their own laptop for this activity.

What you’ll gain

  • Hands-on experience with IT tools and technologies
  • A supportive environment for beginners and career changers
  • A chance to explore pathways into IT and technology careers

Bring a friend and drop in — we can’t wait to make something with you.

Spaces are limited so bookings are essential.
