Step into Whitecliffe’s School of Fine Arts for a two-hour Contemporary Drawing workshop with artist and Senior Lecturer, Matt Ellwood.
In this hands-on session, you’ll experience what it’s like to work in a Fine Arts drawing studio, you’ll explore:
Translating printed photography into charcoal drawings
Sustained realism techniques
Quick mark-making exercises
Approaches to working with text and image
All materials will be provided. Students are welcome to bring printed photographic imagery of their choice, or use imagery supplied on the day.

Come along for a fun, hands-on 3D modelling workshop where you’ll explore the basics of creating digital objects, environments, and forms in 3D software.
This is a relaxed drop-in style workshop, so you can stay as long as you like, get creative, and take home your own printed poster.
