The objective of this Studio project was to create a visual brand identity for a uniquely Aotearoa - New Zealand topic and develop a comprehensive style guide to inform the design of an infographic.
Ramona’s chosen subject was Shrek the Sheep, the well-known Merino from New Zealand, famous for evading shearing for six years. The brand identity was inspired by Shrek’s whimsical and charming story, which captivated a national audience. To reflect the tale’s lighthearted and approachable nature, the visuals were designed using a warm, natural colour palette and simple, rounded shapes. The resulting style guide establishes clear rules for the use of logos, icons, colours, and typefaces, ensuring a happy and welcoming tone for the infographic while maintaining a cohesive and recognisable brand presence.
