Nuraishah’s career began and developed whilst she was in Singapore. In the early days, she worked primarily as a counsellor working with at-risk youths and families in various community settings before venturing into community health promotion with a statutory health board. Missing doing groundwork, she pivot to work with criminal and drug offenders in Singapore Prison Service through groupwork, counselling and numerous programmes.
Right after graduating with MA Art Therapy in 2023, she migrated to Christchurch and opened her own private practice. Based in the Arts Centre, she is passionate to collaborate with like-minded individuals and organisations to increase access to the creative arts for the community’s wellbeing and mental health.
