This one-day holiday programme introduces you to core IT skills through fun, practical activities. You’ll start by assembling and disassembling a PC, explore the basics of networking using Cisco Packet Tracer, and finish the day by learning how to plan and build a simple mobile app.
Led by experienced tutors, this session offers a real insight into the kinds of skills and projects you’ll explore in Whitecliffe’s Bachelor of Applied Information Technology. Whether you’re a beginner or already tech-savvy, this workshop is perfect preparation for anyone considering a future in IT.
If possible, please bring your own laptop, as some activities require Windows-based software (our lab computers run on Mac iOS).
