On Wednesday, July 2nd, step into the world of digital creativity with Design Labs, part of Whitecliffe’s Design Holiday Programme. In the morning session (10:00 AM – 12:15 PM), you’ll take part in Design in Motion with tutor Rebecca Steedman. Using Adobe After Effects, you’ll learn how to animate your designs and create moving posters that tell a visual story.
Then in the afternoon (1:00 PM – 3:00 PM), continue the journey in a Figma workshop led by Becky Stokes. You’ll build on your morning project by designing a simple app interface for the same subject—like an event your poster promoted—showing how motion design and UI/UX can work together across platforms.
This one-day experience is designed to give you hands-on exposure to the tools, techniques, and thinking behind today’s most exciting digital design practices. Whether you’re interested in motion graphics, UX/UI, or both, Design Labs is your chance to explore it all in one creative day.
