MEDIA RELEASE:
We are delighted to announce the acquisition of the New Zealand School of Art and Fashion (NZSAF). NZSAF was created with the merger of three individual schools in recent years, each enjoying a similar reputation for excellence in art and design training and education:
The Owner and Chairman of Whitecliffe, Feroz Ali says “There is an obvious alignment and synergies with Whitecliffe, which has its foundations in art and design education and training. We are confident of a seamless integration that will provide the staff and students more opportunities including pathways to higher education, research, employment support, and access to additional resources. The real win here however is the consolidation of a smaller PTE’s who will now join forces and share their expertise and experience with Whitecliffe to ultimately benefit all of our stakeholders.”
He goes on to say, “Whitecliffe now serves a much wider range of industries than in the past, and this will continue to expand as we seek to diversify our product portfolio to improve our relevancy and contribution to the Tertiary Education Strategy, as well as regional and national skill shortages. As such, we are excited to welcome the NZSAF team to Whitecliffe, along with their students and their programmes of study. We are also really excited to add yet another Bachelor’s degree to our growing portfolio of programmes at degree level and above with the Bachelor of Jewellery Design and Technology, the only degree of its kind in NZ.”
