Victoria M. Azaro started her Fashion Design studies in her home country, Argentina. She then went on to complete a Certificate in Fashion Merchandising and Communication at the London College of Fashion in the UK, a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts with a Major in Fashion at Whitecliffe and a Masters of Fine Arts with Honours at Elam, Auckland University. She has worked as a Fashion Stylist and Journalist, a Fashion PR, a Fashion Merchandiser, as a Fashion Designer both freelance and in-house and as an installation artist. Her passion lies in the exploration of the social discourse within Fashion. Victoria’s work is an on going process of questioning ideas of cultural identity and language construction working within the boundaries of traditional art production, craft and the fashion industry.
