Whitecliffe students have again been awarded Prime Minister’s Scholarships for Asia for 2019. On Thursday February 28, twelve year 3 and 4 Whitecliffe students will depart on an immersive six-week experience where they will be researching sustainable fashion practices, learning a variety of artisan crafts and collaborating on fashion projects around India.

Head of Department Fashion Design Belinda Watt says the trip “will develop key principles of sustainability embedded in the Whitecliffe College of Fashion and Sustainability BFA programme.”

Students Bianca Lim-Yip, Thomas Munday, Louis Cooper, Anna Frugone, Zorica Salic, Kayla Rousselle, Kelsey Allott, Ophelia Kingdon, Jana Stanojevich, Melissa Albom, Jay Moore and Payal Patel will travel through Ahmedabad, Bhuj, West Bengal and New Dehli.
