Whitecliffe sees 13 finalists in the 2019 Best Awards

A whopping 13 Whitecliffe student projects have been named finalists in the DINZ Best Awards for 2019.

The award this year sees 11 Whitecliffe students as finalists in the Graphic Design Student category, one project as a finalist in the Interactive Student category and one project as a finalist in the Nga Aho Student category.

Rebecca Steedman, Lecturer in Graphic Design at Whitecliffe College of Arts & Design, is immensely proud of the outcome for the students.

“We had a graduating class of 18,” Steedman says, so 13 finalists reflects the high quality of student work being produced.

Also finalists in the 2019 Best Awards are numerous Whitecliffe alumni who have received awards this year.

Whitecliffe graduate student Leah Surynt’s team at Designworks are finalists again this year. Leah graduated in 2013, and her Online/Offline publication was awarded a silver in the Best Awards.
