INTRODUCTION TO RISOGRAPH PRINTING
TUTOR: SHEAHAN HURI
The Introduction to Risograph Printing short course will cover all facets of producing work using a multi-colour stencil duplicator printer (RISOGRAPH EZ).
The Risograph printer is a unique cross between a conventional photocopier and a screen printer. Risograph printing, aka Riso, is a simple yet creative tool for anyone interested in producing medium-run, self-published, printed artefacts.
All software and setup techniques, along with producing experimental multi-coloured print work such as posters, newsletters, zines etc. will be covered during this 2-day course.
Highly recommended for designers, illustrators and anyone looking to utilise idiosyncratic-but-high-quality printing at a very cost effective price.
Note: You do NOT need to bring your computer/laptop to this class. Please do bring sourced materials, such as books, magazines (images that can be scanned).
