INTRODUCTION TO ADOBE INDESIGN®
TUTOR: PAUL SHADBOLT
A two-day Introduction to Adobe InDesign.
This course will introduce the beginner to Adobe's InDesign software and its features, and will be of particular interest to self publishers wanting to create projects for print and distribution online. The course will run for two consecutive days over a weekend and will show you how to get around InDesign's workspace, create multipage documents, add & format text, add & transform graphics, organise content with layers, add interactivity and share your InDesign projects.
The course will deliver presentations demonstrating the features and various techniques of InDesign, as well as setting practical hands-on tasks and small projects that will be supervised in class. The demonstrations shown, as well as the tasks and small projects will cumulate into a solid understanding showing the potential of Adobe's InDesign that will allow students to create their own projects as well as setting a solid foundation for further self-directed learning.
Note: You do NOT need to bring your computer/laptop to this class.
Please ensure you enrol with a valid email address. Course material and hand-outs will be provided to students during the course.
