Whitecliffe faculty, students and alumni are selected as finalists for the Wallace Art Awards.
The judging panel includes distinguished artists and arts professionals. The 2017 awards will be judged by artist Richard Maloy and Director of the Centre for Art Studies at The University of Auckland Linda Tyler. Judges for this year’s Fulbright-Wallace Arts Trust Award will be Steve Carr, Phil Dadson, Richard Maloy and Ruth Watson. The newly announced BSR Wallace New Zealand Residence Award will be judged by artists Andrew Drummond, Simon Ogden and Linda Tyler.

Sir James Wallace established the awards more than twenty five years ago to support and expand the visual arts in New Zealand and reward artists creating exceptional work.
