Whitecliffe MFA Fashion Sustainability students Courtney Harper, Benjamin Farry and Sophia Butler are currently in Copenhagen for the Youth Fashion Summit. The event’s core focus is to develop ways in which sustainability can be achieved within the fashion industry to reduce demands on resources and impact on the environment. To raise funds for the trip, the students organised screenings of the film, The True Cost, a documentary that "focuses on fast fashion." The Greg Whitecliffe Memorial Trust donated sales from a Greg Whitecliffe painting to help raise funds for the students at the last film screening held on 2 May. We wish the students the best of luck for their trip!
