
We are proud to announce that forty-nine undergraduate and thirty-eight postgraduate students were awarded Bachelor of Fine Art degrees, Postgraduate diplomas and Masters degrees in a graduation ceremony held at the Auckland Town Hall on Tuesday, December 5.
Lea Te Huia-Eastwood, Whitecliffe Pae Ārahi welcomed graduates, faculty, family and friends with a Karanga, and Willis Maihi offered the Karakia and Mihi. The Haka Pōwhiri and Karakia was given by representatives of Te Kahui Rāngatahi o Ngāti Whatua ki Ōrākei. The Welcome Address was presented by Whitecliffe President Michéle Whitecliffe. The guest speaker for the graduation ceremony was Heather Harris, Chief Operating Officer – Tāmaki Paenga Hira Auckland Museum.
