Lisa Reihana: Lisa is one of New Zealand’s foremost contemporary artists who has played a leading role in the development of film and multimedia art in New Zealand. Lisa has participated in numerous shows, festivals, and fairs all over the world, at venues as diverse as the Singapore Art Museum in Singapore; the Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts in Kaohsiung, Taiwan; the Asia Society and the Brooklyn Museum in New York, USA; and the Contemporary Art Centre in Vilnius, Lithuania.
Rob Garrett: Rob is an independent curator and arts leader. He has 35 years’ experience in the visual arts, as curator, senior manager, writer, arts entrepreneur, strategist and government advisor, teacher and artist. He has long experience in start-ups; leading arts organisations and teams; and change management; and is a specialist in commissioning artist projects and all aspects of public art planning and implementation.
Stephen Cleland: Stephen, former Director at The Physics Room, Curator at Te Tuhi Centre for the Arts and Co-founder and curator at Window project, University of Auckland.
Warren Olds: Warren Olds (Studio Ahoy / Clouds) is an artist and designer based in Auckland. Over the last six years he has developed a number of book projects with New Zealand artists. He will present a selection of these projects and discuss their development.
Sam Thomas and James Wylie: Elam graduates, Thomas and Wylie operate Snake Pit which is an exceptional Artist Run Gallery and Production Space in High Street in Auckland. Snake Pit opened in mid-September, 2011.
