S-AIR Award 2012 / The Whitecliffe School of Arts and Design Artist-in-Residence Programme
The Whitecliffe School of Arts and Design is pleased to announce the S-AIR Award 2012 Residency. This residency has been established to provide International artists with the opportunity to work within the Whitecliffe College of Arts and Design campus and travel in New Zealand for a period of 8-10 weeks from January-March 2012. The purpose is to support ambitious and experimental projects and the production of new works. Visiting artists are encouraged to make links with New Zealand artists and arts organisations in order to promote an exchange of ideas and practice between Japan and New Zealand. The selected artist will be chosen by a panel of lecturers from Whitecliffe School of Arts and Design from a selection of artists supplied by S-AIR. The successful applicant will be announced on December 23, 2011.
