Parkyn Library, named after George Parkyn, a mentor to the late Greg Whitecliffe, provides a welcoming student centred environment. The library has a range of services and resources to help you with your learning, research and teaching needs.

Information Resources and Services

Books: Over 8000 specialist fine arts, photography, design, fashion, arts management and arts therapy books as well as relevant wider material.

Journals: Over 60 subscriptions covering fine arts, photography, graphic design, fashion, arts management and arts therapy related topics.

Databases: Specialist subject matter databases available to students online. Staff are able to guide you through the use of these or you can sign up for a one-to-one tutorial.

Other resources: Computer suite and audio-visual viewing room.

Open Hours

Monday - Friday: 8.30 am - 4.30 pm

We are also open select weekends throughout the year. Students can check the weekends marked in purple on the academic calendar. Other researchers are welcome to contact the library for an appointment.

Library Staff

Library staff offer research services and personal assistance for all students and staff. Just come in or email or phone.
