Becky’s award-winning images have been published locally and internationally. Becky has made over 50 portraits for the significant publication “Mau Moko - The world of Maori tattoo”, published by Penguin NZ. This body of work has been shown at Auckland’s Gus Fisher Gallery as well as travelling to museums in Switzerland and Hamburg.
Becky has worked closely with the Tainui iwi to photograph the architecture and objects of the Kīngitanga collection, as well as making portraits of Tainui and Te Arawa iwi for Tūrangawaewae House. Her work has been shown in group and solo exhibitions, and is held in several private collections.
Becky’s work was accepted into the Te Tuhi billboard program of exhibitions. This engagement with ideas of taonga, cultural identity and their relationship to place continues to be reflected in her own ongoing practice. Becky is also a founding member of photography collective Tangent.
