Amanda Levey
Co-Head of School, Creative Arts Therapies
Amanda gained her psychology degree from the University of Melbourne, and did extensive training in the USA in the Halprin Method, an integration of movement/dance, visual arts, performance techniques and therapeutic practices.

Amanda gained her MA Arts Therapy at Whitecliffe College investigating the use of video as an artistic and therapeutic medium. She is a registered psychologist and a movement-based expressive arts therapist, and has a private practice.
Amanda has taught many community workshops and has presented at conferences and symposia in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Seoul and Europe. She uses movement and video as her creative media and has shown in several galleries and at the Auckland Fringe Festival.
Amanda is a Board member of ANZACATA, the Australian, New Zealand and Asian Creative Arts Therapies Association.
