Jessica Alice Hartley Catchpole
Photography Year Four
“This year at Whitecliffe I have been pushed to evolve my ideas and believe that nothing is ever out of reach or too hard and this has been pivotal in my art practice. I would highly recommend Whitecliffe to anyone who is interested in studying Fine Arts,” says Year Four Photography student Jessica Catchpole.
Jessica was invited to Whitecliffe for a fourth year of study to gain a Bachelor of Fine Arts, upgrading her three year diploma from Design and Arts College of New Zealand in Christchurch. This is in accordance with an agreement between Whitecliffe and Design and Arts College of New Zealand.
She particularly enjoys the collaborative work and creative freedom of Whitecliffe.
“Whitecliffe is an arts community with many great projects and artists all working to the same goals. We take part in other people’s projects and regularly converse about each other’s ideas. The resources are fantastic and the lecturers and tutors are always so encouraging.”
