“I was part of a Whitecliffe team that paired with Hewlett-Packard for Urbis Design Day, and through that I was voted HP Future Designer of the Year 2013,” says Year Four Graphic Design student Leah Surynt.
Whitecliffe has given her the freedom to find her own voice as a designer, as well as plenty of opportunity for industry experience. She was an intern at Alt Group in 2012, and is in her second year as a part-time Junior Designer at Pageone Design.
One of her favourite topics in the Graphic Design Major was Year Three topic, Social Concerns, which explored how to create designs for charitable organisations working for social change.
Leah enjoys the close attention of her lecturers and the strong friendships she has fostered.
“Having such a small group of people on the same journey as you for four years means you become extremely close.”
