After completing a Diploma in Fine Arts in 1988, Pam involved herself fulltime as a practicing/exhibiting painter for ten years before being employed at Whitecliffe in a senior management role. She has extensive experience in business, gallery management and arts events management, completing a Master of Arts in Arts Administration degree in 2002 which lead to her present position. Pam is also a Dissertation Research Supervisor on the Master of Fine Arts programme. Her special interest lies in promoting the value of the arts within higher education and therefore its place within the contexts of our cultural and social economies.
“… because the affective aspects of aesthetic experience engage broad dimensions of human experience, they belong not on the fringes of educational scholarship and activity, but at the centre.” Greene, M. 1994.
