Whitecliffe student Wins Eden Arts Young Artists Award

Whitecliffe College of Arts and Design and the Eden Arts Trust are pleased to announce the winner of the 2014 Young Artists Awards held on 6 September. Year Three Photography student Rainer Weston won Overall Winner and Best Photography/Digital Image and received $4,000 in prize money. The judges this year were sculptor Bronwynne Cornish and artist Denys Watkins. The award takes place every September and is open to 16-25 year olds living or studying in the Trust’s designated Mt. Eden area.

BFA students recently won numerous awards at the 2014 Eden Arts Art Schools Award in August. Whitecliffe are appreciative of the support provided from the Eden Arts Trust for young art students and their future careers.
