Whitecliffe Opens Print & Cut Hub on Campus for Students and Community

The new Whitecliffe Print & Cut Hub opened on the third floor of the Whitecliffe campus on 26 September. The facility, established in association with Canon, provides printing, cutting and trimming services for both students and the local community to use.

The Print & Cut Hub features the following equipment:

•    12-ink Designjet Z3200 44" Photo Printer

•    Canon imagePROGRAF PRO-4000 44" Professional Photographic Large-Format Inkjet Printer

•    upBox Plus 3D Printer

•    ILS-3V RF CO2 Laser System

•    EBA 430e Electric paper guillotine A3

Students can now have low-cost, yet high quality printing done for their assignments, contextual portfolios and studio practice without having to leave campus, especially while in preparation for their mid-term and end-of-year assessments and exhibitions. The facility will be staffed by Photo Media Lecturer/Print Room Technician Yoon Tae Kim and Year 3 Graphic Design student Wayne Shih.
