Graphic Design Student Wins Jann Medlicott Creative Arts Award

Year 2 Graphic Design student Kay Tasma was recently presented with the Jann Medlicott Creative Arts Award in Tauranga.

"The annual Jann Medlicott Creative Arts Award was established to enable further study in the creative arts. Worth $2000, it is awarded to someone undertaking or about to commence study in preparation for a career in creative arts. Administered by Creative Tauranga, this award of a $2000 prize is specifically to assist a Western Bay of Plenty local with study related costs for those currently enrolled, or soon to be undertaking, creative arts advanced study."

Jennifer Pearson, Interim General Manager of Creative Tauranga, says “This award is about recognising our local creative talent and encouraging them in their future plans.”

We congratulate Kay on her success!
