Whitecliffe MFA graduates won prizes at the Glaister Ennor Graduate Art Awards held at Sanderson Contemporary Art in May.
Riley Claxton won the Barfoot and Thompson Award of $3,000 and Alexa Mickell won the Glaister Ennor Special Award selected by Glaister Ennor staff.
This year, the awards were open to both Masters and Honours students from any Auckland art school. Schools were asked to nominate up to 4 students who have graduated in 2014 or before May 2015. The judges were Kylie Sanderson and John Daly Peoples.
Whitecliffe was represented at the awards by our 2015 MFA graduates: Elle Anderson, Riley Claxton, Justine Giles and Alexa Mickell. Congratulations to the winners!
