Whitecliffe Students, Faculty, Alumni Finalists for 2016 Best Design Awards

The Best Design Awards judges' panel has selected the finalists for the 2016 round of awards. In the Student category, recent Whitecliffe graduates Brittnee Covich and Caroline Konarkowska were nominated, as well as Whitecliffe Graphic Design graduates for their 2015 end-of-year exhibition. Current Year 4 student James Gestro was also selected for his project 'Townshend's Brewery Rebrand':

HOD Graphic Design Jonty Valentine was also selected for three publication projects, as part of the Index design team (design/publishing studio he co-founded with Amy Yalland) in the Editorial and Books category:

The Designers Institute of New Zealand first pioneered The Best Design Awards in the mid 1970s. It is a yearly showcase in all aspects of design - graphic, spatial, product and interactive - to honour the best in graphic design in New Zealand. The awards event will take place on Friday evening, 14 October at the Viaduct Events Centre on Auckland’s waterfront. We wish all finalists the best of luck! More info about the awards here
