Fashion Students Showcase Work At Charity Show

Fifteen Fashion Design students showcased their recent runway looks in the Dove House event, Retro Revival. Dove House, the Eastern Bays Hospice, hosted the afternoon event of fashion and entertainment at the private Hanene Gardens, in Kohimarama. Funds raised on the day help the hospice to support people living with life threatening illnesses. The fifteen young fashion designers presented their work to the crowd gathered in the picturesque grounds. Year 4 graduate Samantha Chapman’s work from her collection titled Ecdysis was selected as the winning design by Fashion Stylist and Acting Fashion Editor of Fashion Quarterly, Dan Ahwa.  Congratulations to Samantha, who was presented with a $500 travel voucher prize.
