International student lunch

The Whitecliffe international student Welcome Lunch has grown rapidly in size and in popularity over the last couple of years with over forty students attending the first lunch of 2012 last week.

International students have a variety of backgrounds and while some have attended school in New Zealand , for others this country is a brand new experience. The lunch is a fun social occasion but most importantly is designed to connect Whitecliffe students from all year levels of the BFA.

Thank you to Jennifer Schyle (Year 3) and Crystal Fa'asolo (Year 1) for speaking from a student perspective about what new students can expect to experience at Whitecliffe. Their insights and warm offers of friendship were a valuable addition to the lunch.
