Nelson artist Daniel Campion is currently studying for his MFA at Whitecliffe College of Arts and Design.
His exhibition entitled Immaculate Conception is a collection of seven mixed-media works based on skulls and spines and was designed specifically for the gallery space at Momentum Gallery in Church St. Nelson where the gallery doubles as a yoga and meditation room.
Daniel said that his works were "subtle". He likes his creations to whisper questions, not answers, and said he was trying to create a "meditative mood".
Daniel is pictured at the gallery with one of the exhibited works.
