Grace came to Whitecliffe in 2008 unsure of her future major, between Fine Arts and Graphic design. Now she is in her final year at Whitecliffe as a 4th year Graphic design major with love for typography and publications. Due to Whitecliffe’s various majors Grace is able to develop her skills within graphic design whilst also learning and incorporating photography, fashion and fine art into her works through the collaborations. “What I love about graphic design is that it is not just about designing. You could be creating a kid’s milk brand while working on a publication about OCD. I am constantly researching and learning about new information that has nothing to do with graphic design.” Graphic design also enables Grace to continue exploring her interest within Fine Arts through illustrations and screen-printing, which are integrated into her digital works.

Being surrounded by both like-minded and different creative peers at Whitecliffe makes you develop a point of view, which I believe is crucial in design.
